Lisa Carlson, 66, of St. Clair, passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, May 30, 2026. She was born to the union of Leslie and Betty (Price) Ely, on September 6, 1959, in San Diego, California.
Lisa never met a stranger, and if she didn’t already know you, she just needed five minutes of your time to change that. She was the point of information about everything going on in her neighborhood. Lisa was a lover of all animals, caring for every stray that was lucky enough to find her. She enjoyed gardening, caring for her flowers, and watching Hallmark Mystery Movies. She was an avid garage sale fan and delighted in the occasional flea market as well. Most of all she loved being a grandma and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leslie Ely and her sister, Lena Rickman.
Lisa is survived by her mother, Betty Ely of St. Clair; husband, David Carlson of Union; son, Erich Lenway of St. Clair; daughter, Elizabeth Carlson of St. Clair; granddaughter, Riley Waldron; brother, Lorn Ely and wife Elsa of Houston, Texas; sisters, Lois Masterson and husband Pat of Walnut Shade, Missouri, Loti Barker and husband Scott of Higden, Arkansas; other relatives and many, many friends.
