Linda Marie Smith, 74, of Gerald, previously of Florissant, passed away, Saturday, June 4, 2022, at her home.
On January 29, 1948, Linda was born to the union of Frank Kiefer and Doris (Rounsley) in the state of Washington.
Linda graduated from McCluer High School.
She was united in marriage to Conrad Smith on February 19, 1965, in Florissant.
Linda owned and operated Doll House Coiffeurs in Florissant for many years.
She was very hardworking woman who never failed at anything she took on. Linda was an inspiration to many because of the many obstacles she overcame through her life. She worked diligently from day till night maintaining her twenty-six beautiful flower beds keeping them trimmed, pruned and weed free. In addition to the care of her flowerbeds she also maintained a goldfish pond keeping them safe from other wildlife. Linda's hard work outside transferred indoors as well, her home was always immaculate. Linda kept busy and was not one to take a break, she simply loved to work. Most of all Linda loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Doris Kiefer; one brother, Bill Kiefer; two sisters, Sandy Krook & Gail Kiefer; half-sister, Terri Petersen; one grandson, Christian Foster, her step-parents, Dick & Donna Peterson.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Conrad Smith of Gerald; daughter, Jackie Smith of Gerald; brother, Jim Kiefer and wife Linda of Washington state; three grandchildren, Nick Smith and wife Megan of Union, Mollie Foster of Union & Austin Ayers and wife Tabby of Arkansas; four great-grandchildren, Logan Smith, Oliver Smith, Jensen Ayers & Emersen Ayers; other relatives and many friends.
