Linda Kathryn Peters (Ayres), 73, of Union passed away, Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at her home.
Linda, daughter of Everett Ayres and wife Louise (Hoheisel) was born September 17, 1947 in Wichita, Kansas.
On March 17, 1991, she was united in marriage to Dale Peters in Wellington, Kansas and reunited a short time later on May 25, 1991, with a garden wedding in Viola, Kansas.
Linda was always faithful to the Catholic Religion throughout her lifetime.
She lived and worked in Wellington, Kansas until her retirement in 2009 when she moved to Table Rock Lake. In 2020 she made Union her home.
Linda was an excellent seamstress, enjoyed painting and making crafts. She loved to bake and make delicious addicting food.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, Everett Ayres; her granddaughter, Elizabeth Eidson and nephew and godson, Brent Doss.
She is survived by her husband, Dale Peters of Union; five children, Kristina Harkness of Great Bend, KS, Kerry Eidson and wife Robin of Gerald, Kelly Eidson and wife Ellen of Murphysboro, TN, Karyn Sheen and husband Zane of Eugene, OR and Michael Peters and wife Jennifer of Margate, FL; her mother, Louise Ayres of Viola, KS; two brothers, Steve Ayres and wife Armella of Norwich, KS and Chet Ayres and wife Janet of Stanford, KY; two sisters, Lou Ann Doss and significant other Phil Moore of Wichita, KS and Rhonda Loehr and husband Bernard Thompkins of Garden Plain, KS; seven grandchildren, Rochelle, Quinn, Tristan, Taylor, Daegon, Maximillion and Leila; one great-grandson, Rhett; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the MDS Foundation are preferred.
