Obituary

Linda Sue (LaChance) Gann of Pacific, Missouri, peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at the age of 74. She was born October 29, 1951, in Belleville, Illinois.

Linda was united in marriage to the love of her life, Sherman Gann, on December 31, 1970, and they were blessed to have two daughters. They celebrated 40 happy years together before Sherman's passing in 2010.

Linda enjoyed camping throughout the beautiful Missouri lakes and rivers and at her favorite retreat in Ft. Myers Beach, Florida. Linda was a social butterfly who was always surrounded by her friends playing games like Farkle, cards, and shuffleboard. She was the life of the party and cherished her close friendships.

But her life truly revolved around her family. Her daughters and grandchildren were her pride and joy, and she was the happiest when spending time with them. Linda was always there for her family, and her love and support will be felt for generations. Linda had a heart of gold and was the center that brought her large extended family together for holidays and special occasions.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Gann; her parents, Robert and Joanna LaChance; and one sister, Rita Moon.

She is survived by two daughters, Jodi Cloninger and husband Kevin, of Chesterfield, and Lauren Gann and wife Mary Ebel, of St. Louis; two grandsons, Drew Cloninger and Ryan Cloninger; one sister, Mary Ann Splittorff, of Bourbon; and many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Linda Gann can be made to the American Cancer Society.
