Leroy Eiskant Sr, 76 of Owensville passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2012 in Washington.

Mr. Eiskant, son of the late Walter and Beulah Eiskant was born July 23, 1935 in East St. Louis, Illinois.

He was a retired volunteer Fire Fighter at the Cahokia Fire department.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Eiskant; his parents, Walter and Beulah Eiskant and one brother, Jim Eiskant.

Mr. Eiskant is survived by his son, Leroy Eiskant Jr. and wife Myra of Gray Summit; his daughter, Theresa Woolley and husband Tim of Washington; two sisters, Carol Erlinger and husband Joe of Freeburg, Illinois and Joan Fink and husband Calvin of Troy, Illinois; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
