Leon Brune, 59, of Beaufort, Passed from this life peacefully at his home on Friday, February 24, 2017.

Mr. Brune, son of the late George Brune and wife Loraine nee Brendel was born January 19, 1958 in Washington.

On July 11, 1987, he was united in marriage to Cheryl Carroll in Beaufort.

He received his education at Union High School, class of 1976. He spent many years collecting and making arrowheads. we was an avid fisherman and a loving husband and father.

Mr. Brune was preceded in death by his parents, George and Loraine Brune.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Brune nee Carroll of Beaufort; one son, Raymond Brune of Union; one step-son, Jared Carroll of Beaufort; four brothers, Ronald Brune and wife Patricia of Leslie, Larry Brune and wife Vickie of Pacific, Norman Brune and wife Deborah of Union and Dennis Brune of Union; three sisters, Diana Esslinger and husband Alfred of Union, Wanda Peters and husband Robert of Marthasville and Shirley Duffer and husband Michael of Union; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
