Lawrence "Larry" Fowler, Jr., 67 of Union passed away Friday, May 16, 2014 in Washington. Mr. Fowler, son of the late Lawrence Fowler, Sr. and wife Velma nee Stephens was born October 25, 1946 in Washington. Mr. Fowler served his country in the United States Navy, serving one tour of Vietnam and receiving an honorable discharge for his service. On June 22, 1996 he was united in marriage to Veronica nee Collier in Washington. During his working career he worked as an over the road truck driver and retired in 2013. Mr. Fowler was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Veronica Fowler of Union; two daughters, Goldie Fleming of Union and Velma Fowler of Washington; one brother, Wayne Fowler and wife Linda of California; five grandchildren, Sydney, Nicholas, Taylor, April and Lucian; one great-granddaughter, Aliyah; mother-in-law, Enola Collier of Owensville; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
