Lawrence Dan Courtway, 68, of Sullivan, passed away, Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan.

On August 25, 1954, Lawrence was born to the union of Raymond Courtway and Corine (Courtway) in Washington, Missouri.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Corene Courtway; seven brothers, Joe Courtway, Henry Courtway and wife Donna, Clyde Courtway and wife Patty, Mike Courtway, Raymond "Shorty" Courtway, Clarence Courtway and David Courtway; four sisters, Mary Turntine and husband Dale, Mildred Fox, Lorna Revelle, Joyce Todaro; brother-in-law, Lawrence Briggs.

He is survived by his son, Raymond Lawrence Courtway of Union; brother, Bill Courtway and wife Lucy of Sullivan; sister, Gerri Briggs of Union; grandchildren, Kelsey Courtway of Union, Kasey Courtway of Union, Peyton Gullett of Catawissa and Gauge Hendrix of Florida; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
