Launa Brown nee Davis, 79 of Sullivan passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014 in St. Clair. Mrs. Brown, daughter of the late Author Davis and wife Myrtle nee Miles was born August 1, 1934 at Windsor, Missouri. On February 28, 1969 she was united in marriage to Kenneth Brown in St. Clair. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Montrose Davis, Orville Davis and Lawrence Davis and three sisters, Dorothy Goodman, Carmel Garstang and Juanita McCord. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Brown of Sullivan; one son, Steven Mueller and wife Nadine of St. Clair; two daughters, Deborah Hoff and husband Steve of St. Clair and Tammy Norton of St. Clair; three step-sons, Ricky Brown and wife Dee Dee of Union, James Brown and wife Chris of Stanton and Dale Brown of St. Clair; one brother, Stanley Davis; two sisters, Joann Storey of Tallahassee, FL and Shirley McClung of Springfield, IL; five grandchildren, Eric Johnson, Danielle Travis, Gretchen Black, Ian Mueller and Logan Gilbert; five great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
