Larry V. Sargent, 70, of St. Clair passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016 at his home.

Mr. Sargent, son of the late Charles Sargent and wife Dorothea nee Stier was born
February 5, 1946 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Larry was a P.E.R. of St. Clair Elks Lodge, member of the American Legion and retired over the road truck driver.

Mr. Sargent was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Dorothea Sargent;
two brothers, Richard Sargent and Tommy Sargent and his son-in-law, Michael Abboud.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Sargent of St. Clair; four daughters, Wendy Florence and husband Tom of St. Louis, Vicki Swayne and husband Tom of St. Louis, Diane Abboud of St. Clair and Anita Williams and husband Jerry of St. Louis; one brother, Pat Sargent of Dupo. IL;
sister-in-law, Sharon Kowalczyk and husband Joe of St. Charles; nine grandchildren;
six great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
