LaJoy "Sonny" Mills, 84, of St. Clair passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 in St. Clair.

Mr. Mills, son of LaJoie Mills and wife Dorothy nee Marshall was born April 29, 1933 in Hannibal, Missouri.

On February 9, 1963 he was united in marriage to Beverly Herin in East St. Louis, Illinois.

Mr. Mills was preceded in death by his parents, LaJoie and Dorothy Mills and his wife, Beverly Mills.

He is survived by six sons, David Mills and wife Paula of Monument, Colorado, Jim Mills and wife Tricia of St. Clair, Terry Mills and wife Amy of Las Vegas, Nevada, Brian Mills and wife Pam of St. Clair, Charlie Mills and wife Paula of St. Louis and Danny Mills of St. Louis; one brother, Ed "Butch" Mills of St. Louis; one sister, Dorothy Ann; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
