Kristin Lee Hale, 54, of Union, passed away Monday, October 6, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur.

Kristin was born April 9, 1972, in Albany, Missouri, the daughter of Robin and Verdie (Jones) Green.

She worked as a certified nursing assistant, caring for residents in nursing home settings.

Kristin loved the Lord, and her faith was a steady part of her life. She enjoyed reading Scripture and writing down Bible verses that meant something to her. She had a soft spot for animals, especially her dogs, and found peace working in her garden. Most of all, she treasured her grandchildren. They were a big part of her life.

She is survived by her husband, Harvey Hale of Union; her children, Jordan Bassham and his significant other, Sarah Ridings, of Villa Ridge, Jaimie Bassham of Union, and Brayden Green of Union; nine grandchildren; her parents, Robin and Verdie Green of Arizona; and her sister, Stephanie Green of Arizona.

Kristin was preceded in death by her daughter, Anne Marie Laubinger, and her husband, Keith O'Brien.

Memorials may be made to the Franklin County Humane Society.
