Kim Thomas Reid, of Rosebud, Missouri, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2026, at the age of 70. He was born on March 31, 1956, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the union of Merritt Charles Reid Jr. and June Leona (Kenny) Reid.

Kim dedicated over thirty years of his life to Ford Motor Company, where he worked as an inspector. He was also a member of the United Auto Workers (UAW).

Outside of work, Kim had a love for the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed spending his time casting a line and doing what he loved. He also enjoyed deer and turkey hunting, taking every opportunity he could to enjoy the outdoors.

Kim is survived by his son, Kim T. Reid II and wife Pamela of Rosebud, MO; his daughter, Heather Reid of St. Clair, MO; two grandchildren, Victoria Wilson and husband Alex, and Phillip Mijares; three great-grandchildren, Ezra, Lucian, and Atticus; two sisters, June Sheppard and husband Darrell of Moscow Mills, MO, and Linda Castello and husband Charlie of St. Peters, MO; along with other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Gloria (King) Reid; his parents, Merritt and June Reid; and his brother, Merritt Reid III.

Kim will be dearly missed by his family and all those who knew and loved him.
