Obituary

Kenton Warren Price, 78, died comfortably, quietly, peacefully, as he wished, in his Tanglewood Road home outside of Union, Missouri on May 10, 2014, from an undiagnosed illness. Mr. Price was born on October 4, 1935 at St. Louis to the late Cecil and Verna (Wilson) Price. He grew up in the North St. Louis city area and enlisted in the United States Air Force. As an NCO he served 12 years with two tours of duty in Japan and one in Korea during that conflict, receiving an honorable discharge in 1963. He returned to his family in St. Louis and worked in the technical design/engineering trade. He remained single until he met at work and soon married his BFF, Jacqueline nee Seiller in 1971. When they moved to Union in 1996, he closed and retired from his privately-owned service company. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Jeanne Roades and a brother, Danny. His passing is mourned by his wife as well as a younger sister, Bonnie Bailey of Rolla, her two sons and their wives, Jeremy and Nel and Toby and Audrey, other family members and close friends. His final wishes for cremation and interment in Jefferson Barracks Cemetery are being followed. No dates have been determined. Mercy Hospice supported Mr. Price in his final weeks and is very much appreciated.
