Kent H. Chambers, 65, of Union passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 in Creve Coeur.

Mr. Chambers, son of the late Gerald Chambers and wife Doris nee Hadley was born March 19, 1952 in Phoenix, Arizona.

On October 19, 2002, he was united in marriage to Kathy Proctor in Union.

He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era receiving an honorable discharge.

He dedicated 30 years of service with the Carpenter's Union until retiring in 2009. He was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners Local 1839 in Washington.

He was of the Christian Faith and member of the First Assembly of God Church in Gray Summit.

Mr. Chambers was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Doris Chambers and one brother, Curtis Chambers.

He is survived by his wife Kathy Chambers of Union; six daughters, Shannon Chambers of Krakow, Amanda Chambers of St. Clair, Cory Falkner and husband Keith of Marthasville, Merdith Menley and husband Scott of Union, Michelle Proctor of High Ridge and Marin Reeder and husband Ryan of Pacific; two sons, Matthew Proctor and wife Marlo of Fenton and Cole Proctor and wife Alicia of Kirkwood; five siblings, Dennis Chambers of Licking, Brenda Buckner and husband Dean of Licking, Kelley Lewis and husband Kenny of Licking, Lori Chambers and husband Mike Day of Oklahoma City, OK., Jill Stoner and husband Steven of Salem; fifteen grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
