Kenneth Grubbs, 68 of St. Clair passed away Monday, September 12, 2011 at his home.

Mr. Grubbs, son of the late Sydney Grubbs and wife Nellie nee Grounds was born May 27, 1943 in East Prairie, Missouri.

He was the Owner and Operator of Missouri Timber Company based out of St. Clair for over 30 years.

He attended the Book of Acts Church in Richwoods, Missouri.

Mr. Grubbs was preceded in death by his parents, Sydney and Nellie Grubbs; three brothers, Chester Grubbs, Sydney Grubbs and Sonny Grubbs; two sisters, Maxine Jewel and Opal June.

He is survived by two sons, Tony Kenneth Grubbs of St. Louis and Douglas Ray Grubbs of St. Louis; one daughter, Courtney Leigh Grubbs of St. Charles; two brothers, Gene Grubbs and wife Barbara of East Prairie and Jerry Grubbs of East Prairie; five grandchildren, Taylor H. Grubbs and Jordan B. Grubbs both of Nashville, Tennessee, Austin Grubbs and Ian Riggs both of St. Charles and Hayden Grubbs of St. Louis; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
