Juanita Bell Calvird nee Brawley, 77 of St. Louis passed away Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Riverview Nursing Home in St. Louis from Alzheimer's disease.

Mrs. Calvird, daughter of the late Guy and Eula Brawley was born November 19, 1934 in Ellington, MO.

On February 9, 1952 she was united in marriage to Robert Lee Calvird in St. Louis. Three sons were born to this union.

They made their home in St. Louis. Juanita was a loving wife, mother and friend.

She worked for many years outside the home and retired in 2005.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Calvird Sr.; her son, Guy Calvird; her parents, Guy and Eula Brawley and her sister, Ruth Nash.

Mrs. Calvird is survived by two sons, Robert Calvird Jr. and wife Cheryl of St. Louis, Gary Calvird and wife Deborah of High Point, MO; sisters, Maxine Short and husband Richard of Ballwin and Louise Vance of St. Louis; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
