Joyce A. Doney nee Dorion, 78 of Owensville passed away Monday, October 28, 2013 at her home.

Mrs. Doney, daughter of the late Francis and Reva Pilliod was born March 16, 1935 in Elvins, Missouri.

On November 11, 1956 she was united in marriage to Robert Doney in St. Louis. She helped start the Fenton Khoury League Baseball in Fenton, Missouri and was a member of the VFW Post Ladies Auxiliary in Owensville.

Mrs. Downey was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Reva Pilliod; one daughter, Paula Doney and a very special aunt, Golda LaRose.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Doney, Sr. of Owensville; one son, Robert Doney, Jr. of Owensville; one daughter, Jackie Wisdom and husband Jeff of St. James; two sisters, Peggy Osana of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Vallys Pilliod and husband Gary Valade of Luebbering; nine grandchildren, Nick Cuchetti of Owensville, Brian Cuchetti of Owensville, Felicia Light and husband Daren of Belle, Christina Rademacher and husband Simon of Owensville, Ashley Wisdom of St. James, Chelsea Wisdom of St. James, Erica Ross of Fenton, Emily Ross of Fenton and Chad Ross of Fenton; five great-grandchildren, Ayden, Bentley, Dylan, Owen and Symone; other relatives and many friends.
