Joy Tredway, 79, of Union, passed away, Sunday, December 5, 2021, in Washington.

On February 20, 1942, Joy was born to the union of Francis Tredway and Margaret (Urban) Tredway in Beaufort.

He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.

On December 31, 1976, Joy was united in marriage to Freda (Gillam) in Union.

Joy loved hunting, fishing and working on guns.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Margaret Tredway and one brother, Paul Tredway.

Joy is survived by his wife, Freda; one brother, Richard Tredway and wife Norma of New Haven; one sister, Nancy Owens and significant other, Mike Charboneau of Naples, FL; his pet, Scooter; nieces, nephews and many friends.
