Joy Curtis nee Parsons, 66 of Union passed away Saturday, September 7, 2013 in Sullivan.

Mrs. Curtis, daughter of the late Albert Parsons and Lucille nee Roberts was born July 5, 1947 in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

On June 29, 1996 she was united in marriage to Dale Curtis in Pacific. She was a member and active volunteer for Alcoholics Anonymous.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dale Curtis and her sister, Joanne Parsons.

Mrs. Curtis is survived by two sons, Bobby Hampton of St. Clair and John Hampton of Orange Park, FL; one daughter, Michell DeClue and husband Steve of St. Clair; one sister, June Jones and husband Raymond of Atlantic Beach, FL.; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
