Joshua was born June 23, 1979 in Sacramento, California, son of Steve Shaw and Elizabeth (Birge) Shaw.

On September 14, 2001 he was united in marriage to his first wife, Holly Greer in Union. On May 23, 2008 he was united in marriage to Jennifer Rose in Union.

Joshua enjoyed hunting, the outdoors and entering in fishing tournaments.

He was a loving husband, father, son, grandson and friend with a heart of gold.

Joshua was preceded in death by his first wife, Holly Shaw.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Shaw of Union; three children, Keanan Shaw, Carlie Shaw and Destiny Shaw all of Union; parents, Steve Shaw of Valejo, CA and Elizabeth Shaw of Villa Ridge; one brother, Steven Young of Union; three sisters, Tonia Wildt and husband Jim of Princeton, IN, Michelle Shaw of Florissant and Bonnie Angels of Salem, OR; niece and nephews, Dylan Davenport Petty Officer 2nd Class currently serving with Joint Special Operations Command, Ft. Bragg, N.C., April Cox and Tyriek Brenson; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
