On Wednesday, April 27, 2022, Josephine E. Berg (LeFlore) passed at the age of 96.

Loving wife of the late Clarence W. Berg. Loving mother of Sandy (Ron) and Michelle (Gary). Beloved grandmother of Julie (Jason), Michael, Timothy, Christopher, Rebecca (David) Paige, Logan, Isabella and Hunter.

Jo was born 9-19-25 in St. Louis, MO to Clifford and Julia LeFlore. Her father called her Scooter. She lived in South St. Louis with her sisters Leona, Georgia and brother Clifford. Jo attended Lafayette Elementary School then McKinley High, graduating in 1944, the first in her family.

Her first job at 18 was at Tower Grove Bank.  She later retired from Centerre Bank in 1987.

After retirement, Jo traveled across the states, sending postcards of the adventurtes. In 2005 she moved to Union to be near her family and made many new friends. She joined a bowling league, a line dancing class and the Red Hats Society.

She was proud to be a Lifetime member of the Spanish American Girls Society, the McKinley Goldbugs and friend to many.
