Joseph Edward Hodge, 71, of Lonedell, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at his home.

On April 16, 1949 Joseph was born to the union of Earl Hodge and Dorothy (McKinnon) in Glencoe.

Joseph attended Pond High School.

On April 29, 1994 Joseph was united in marriage to Sandy (Tidwell) in Union.

Joseph retired from Canam Steel Corp. in Washington as an electrical supervisor after 35 plus years.

He was a member of First Assembly of God Church in St. Clair.

Joseph enjoyed fishing, gardening, tinkering with electrical products, camping and mushroom hunting as well as looking for arrowheads. Most of all Joseph loved spending time with his family.

Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Dorothy Hodge; son, William Joseph Hodge; brother, Earl Hodge Jr.; sister, Shirley Daffron.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Sandy Hodge of Lonedell; two sons, James W. Hodge and wife MaryBeth of Beaufort and Ricky Monroe of Japan; two daughters, Dixie Hatfield of St. Clair and Brenda Reedy and husband Gale of Union; four brothers, Dave Hodge and wife Brenda of Wentzville, Roy Hodge, Tim Hodge and wife Rhonda of Eureka and Gary Hodge and wife Debbie of Villa Ridge; one sister, Marcella Hodges of High Ridge; loving dog, Candy; five grandchildren, Randy Hatfield and wife Jessi, Cody Hatfield, Sarah, Richard and Ashley; four great-grandchildren, Sophia, McKinley, Jade and Dalton; great-great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews other relatives and many friends.

Memorial donations are appreciated to the First Assembly of God Church in St. Clair.
