Joseph DiFatta, Jr., of Pacific, passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2025, at the age of 73.  He was born in St. Louis, on April 4, 1952, to Joseph and Ethel (Witt) DiFatta.  He married Christine (Fischer) in St. Louis, on April 2, 2003.

Joe, as he was known to family and friends, was a police officer in the Bel-Ridge community of North St. Louis County for over 25 years before his retirement.  After retirement, he found time to work in his yard and do landscaping, along with tinkering with anything that needed to be mended or repaired.  He also loved nature itself and enjoyed the times with family and friends that was spent walking in the woods and along Missouri streams.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ethel DiFatta; two sisters, Sandy Karpowicz and Joanne Welch.

Joe is survived by his loving wife, Christine DiFatta of Pacific, son, Joseph M. DiFatta and wife Amber of Washington; brother, John DiFatta of O'Fallon; sisters, Mary Therese Hadley of Villa Ridge and Marcia Souders of Villa Ridge; grandchildren, Joseph, Skyla and Sofia.  He was also the caring stepfather to Charles, Erica and Claire; step-grandfather to Courtney, Otha, Charles, Corey and Charli Rose; step-great grandfather to James. Joe will be missed by his family and his many friends.
