John Alfred Pehle Sr. of St. Clair, MO was born February 16, 1950 in Washington, MO; the son of Emory Pehle and his wife, Edith (Weindel).  John passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at the age of 73 years.

John was employed at Clemco Industries in Washington, MO until his retirement. He enjoyed going on vacations and walking highways looking for scrap.  He also cherished the time he spent with his family and friends, and he will be dearly missed.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Emory and Edith Pehle; one sister, Lois (Mark) Gremaud; and one great-grandson, Braxton Cannon.

He is survived by his son, John Pehle Jr. and wife Amanda of Piggott, AR; his significant other, Judy Boxx of Potosi; five grandchildren: Diana (Luis) Reynoso, Alexandria Pehle, Darline Pehle, Dominic (Merissa) Pehle, and Grayson Pehle; eight great-grandchildren: Luis, Analia, Elenna, Lana, Bryson, Braylynn, Mazikeen, and Marcelin; one nephew, Shawn Pehle of St. Clair; and many other relatives and friends.
