John T. Sheerin, 85, of Labadie, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 in St. James.

Mr. Sheerin, son of the late Charles Sheerin and wife Mary Jane nee Devine was born September 5, 1931 in St. Louis.

He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War receiving an honorable discharge.

Mr. Sheerin was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Mary Jane Sheerin and one son, Stephen G. Sheerin.

He is survived by one son, John T. Sheerin Jr. of Goodrich, Michigan; one daughter, Catherine Sheerin of Joplin; four grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
