John Thomas Rone, 93, of Pacific, Missouri passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at his home.

John, son of Andrew Jackson Rone and wife Violet Annie (Hawkins) was born February 19, 1928 in Portageville, Missouri.

On February 1, 1949 he was united in marriage to Katherine Hatley in Piggott, Arkansas.

John worked as a Lineman for Ameren UE for over 40 years and member of the IBEW Laborers Union.

He was a faithful member of the Florissant Church of Christ in Florissant for over fifty years.

John enjoyed fishing and singing country music especially Hank Williams. He loved to tinker on equipment and anything needing fixed up.

John was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Jackson and Violet Annie Rone; his wife, Katherine Rone; his son, Steven Rone and two brothers, Allen Rone and Edward Rone and two sisters, Louise Cooper and Betty Carver.

He is survived by four children, Gary Rone of Defiance, Allen Rone and wife Chris of Foristell, Katherine Chambers of Pacific and Teri Marsh of St. Charles; one brother, Jake Rone and wife Cheri of Portageville; thirteen grandchildren, Michael, Mark, Amy, Katie, Teresa, April, Meredith, Michelle, Matthew, Marin, Cole, Behn and Andrew; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial donations to Camp Ne-O-Tez or St. Jude Children Research Hospital are preferred.
