John "Rick" Richard Smith, 75, of Pacific passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020 in Wildwood.

John, son of John D. Smith and wife Doris (Poss) was born March 18, 1944 in St. Louis.

He worked as a Welder for over forty years until his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed any and all types of fishing.

John was preceded in death by his parents, John D. and Doris Smith; his wife, Karen Smith and one brother, Ernie Smith.

He is survived by two children, John E. Smith of Washington and Tonya Graham and husband Todd of Catawissa; two siblings, Lloyd Smith and wife Carol of Wentzville and Linda Kelly and husband Don; four grandchildren, Trenton Graham and wife Emileigh of Union, Teagan Graham of Catawissa, Rebecca Smith of Villa Ridge and John Smith Jr. of Villa Ridge; two great-grandchildren, Tilly Graham and Dorothy Graham; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial donations to the Franklin County Humane Society are preferred.
