John Latham, age 70, of St. Clair, MO, passed away unexpectedly Monday, November 13, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Washington, MO.

John was born in New Orleans, LA on March 19, 1953 to Michael Latham and Julia (Burkett) Latham.

On November 5, 2006 he was united in marriage to Cindy Havin and spent 17 wonderful years together.

He displayed a wide array of talents with careers in law enforcement, trucking, and retail management. He retired from Union Wal-Mart in 2019 after 15 years as an Assistant Manager.

After retirement, John loved to travel with his wife, Cindy; especially to the Gulf Coast area where he was raised. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and family. Some of his favorite activities were scenic drives through the country in his new truck with Cindy, and evening tours around the lake in their golf cart.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Michael and Julia Latham; two sisters; Betty Richey and Mary Rodriquez; and his son, Jay Latham.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Cindy Latham of St. Clair, MO; three brothers: Michael (Lorraine) Latham of Lakeland, FL., Frank Latham of Covington, LA., and Bryan (Barbara) Latham of Vernon, FL; two sisters: Karen (Robert) King of Chalmette, LA. and Gwen Hall of Mandeville, LA; mother in-law, Sara Epperson; step-daughter, Holly (Brian) Downey of St. Clair, MO; and step-son Derrick (Jennifer) Havin of Spokane, WA.; six grandchildren, Katelin Bilquist, Lumen Latham, Bryce Downey, Blaine (Lexi) Downey, Wyatt Havin, and Vivian Havin; nieces, nephews; and other relatives and friends.

John will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved him.
