John Gorry, 64, of Pacific, passed away, Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at his home.

On December 10, 1957, John was born to the union of Kenneth Gorry and Alice (Heckel) in St. Louis.

John graduated from Northeast Missouri University with a Bachelors in Drafting and Design.

John was a true deadhead, traveling around the states following, The Grateful Dead. He enjoyed many other bands of that era as well. This of course classified him as a lover of good music. He also enjoyed Blues Hockey, rock collecting especially geodes and caving. His other favorite pass time was watching "Jeopardy" with his companion Kay, and everyone knew  better than to call the house between 4:30 and 5 p.m.  Most of all John loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth(Alice) Gorry; sister, Kathleen Grimes; companion, Kay Culbertson.

John is survived by his step-son, Jeremy (Tammie) Taylor; two half-brothers, Pete (Lynne) Brown and Thomas (Becky) Brown; sister, Mary Dewalle; brother-in-law, Tom Grimes; three grandchildren, Julia, Evelyn and Michael; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
