Jo Anne Weiskopf (Key), 89, of Sullivan, passed away at her residence on Friday, September 23, 2022
Jo Anne, daughter of Clarence Elmer "Mitt" Key and wife Madge Marie (Bell), was born July 11, 1933, in Sullivan.
She was united in marriage to Leo Weiskopf at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Sullivan, on November 20, 1954.
Jo Anne attended and graduated from Sullivan High School. In her early years, she was employed as an office worker. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
She was very creative with crocheting and needle work. Along with flower gardening, she was active in researching and sharing her family genealogy. She especially enjoyed the many trips to Branson to see the music shows with her husband Leo. In their mature years, Leo played in his brother's band, "Harold's Country Sounds" on Saturday nights, where she would always go along for the music and a dance when Leo could get a break.
Jo Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Madge Key; her husband, Leo Weiskopf; one daughter, Brenda Jo Weiskopf: one brother, Leonard Key; one great granddaughter, Miah Gumpenberger.
She is survived by one son, Kent Weiskopf of Sullivan; three daughters, Sandra Marchetto and husband Bill of Sullivan, Kaye Weiskopf of Sullivan, Patti Arnold and husband Jay of Sullivan; one sister-in-law, Glenda Key of Huntsville; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harold and Dorothy Weiskopf; six grandchildren, Natasha Keen, Ashley Tucker, Willie Marchetto, Kyle Arnold, Jared Gumpenberger and Katelyn Weiskopf; eight great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins and many friends.
A memorial mass celebrating Jo Anne's life, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 1, 2022, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 463 N. Church Street, Sullivan, MO. Burial will immediately follow at Laubinger Memorial Cemetery, Spring Bluff.
