Jo Ann Bathe, age 75, of Festus, Missouri, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2025, surrounded by those she loved.

Jo was a woman of remarkable warmth, compassion, and creativity. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life — tending her garden, crafting and painting, sharing laughter with friends, and cherishing every moment with her family. A lover of the ocean, Jo spent many fulfilling days volunteering at Manatee Park in Florida, where her gentle spirit and kind heart left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John G. Bathe. She is survived by her loving daughter and spouse, Misty Hill and Trish Anthony; her sons and their spouses, Paul Hill and Kathy Baker, Kip and Jody Hill, and Dan and Lori Bathe. Jo is also survived by her dear sister Carol Sutherland and husband Merle, and by several grandchildren who brought great joy to her life.

At Jo's request, no memorial service will be held. A celebration of life will be planned at a later time, where friends and family can gather to remember her with love and laughter.
