Jerry Grogan, 75, of St. Clair passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014 at his home. Mr. Grogan, son of the late Walter Lee Grogan and wife Mary Grogan (Swallows) was born July 16, 1938 in Dexter, Missouri. He served his country in the United States Army from 1957-1958 and reenlisted from 1958-1963 serving in Pirmasens, Germany and receiving an honorable discharge. Mr. Grogan was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberley Ann Hurley; his parents, Walter and Mary Grogan; siblings, Paul Lee Grogan, Ruth Lenora Grogan, Cecil Howard Grogan, William Lee Grogan, Margie Louise Grogan, Walter Lee Grogan, Jr, Lena Mae Grogan and Bobby Joe Grogan. He is survived by two daughters, Laurel Grimm (Grogan) and husband Robert of St. Clair and Connie Fite (Hurley) and husband Don of Fenton; four grandchildren, Kymberli Zeitler (Fite) and husband Louis, SPC Tyler Grogan, Becky Grimm and Jacob Hoefer; four great-grandchildren, Braylon, Braden, Cody and Donovan; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
