Jerry Dean Ellison of Union, MO was born January 5, 1953 in St. Louis, MO; the son of Charles "Monroe" Ellison and his wife, Katherine (McGraw).  Jerry passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at the age of 71 years.

Jerry received his education from St. Clair High School.  He was united in marriage to Charlotte (Angell) on September 13, 1980 at Pacific Presbyterian Church in Pacific, MO.  He worked in construction and the Franklin County Highway Department.  Jerry was a member of Zion United Church of Christ in Union, MO.  He loved fishing, hunting, ice-cream socials, fairs, and picnics.  He also enjoyed auctions, yard sales, flea markets, and then selling his lucky finds. The time Jerry cherished most was the time spent with his family and friends, and he will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Katherine Ellison.

Jerry is survived by his dear wife of 43 years, Charlotte Ellison of Union; two sons: Jerry Lee Ellison of Bowling Green, and Donald Reed Jr. and wife Sarah of Bland; one sister, Judy Lomax and husband Chuck of Warsaw, Il; five grandchildren: Donald Reed III, Cassandra Reed, Aubrey Reed, Blake Ellison, and Wade Ellison; and many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
