Obituary

Jeffrey Bramer was always unapologetically himself. He was opinionated. He was funny. He was stubborn. Jeff was a fighter. He was passionate and he was loyal. He was loud and his heart was huge. He was a devoted father and husband. He had a personality that could fill a room. Jeff was fiercely protective of the people he loved. If you had Jeff in your corner, you were lucky. He was grateful for the blessings in his life. He appreciated a beautiful sunrise and believed in new beginnings. He loved Great Danes and thought they made wonderful lap dogs. He wasn't one to back down from an argument or a fight. And he wasn't ready to say goodbye. True to who he was until the end, Jeff fought with everything he had for as long as he could to be with the people he loved. Unfortunately, this was not a fight Jeff could win and he passed away on October 1, 2021, at the age of 45 from complications related to COVID-19. Angela, his loving wife – his rock – was by his side, as always.

Jeff was born on March 21, 1976, to Sheri Peden and Jeffrey Bramer. He grew up in Kansas City, Missouri but moved to Pacific, Missouri during high school where he met the love of his life, Angela. Jeff and Angela were married on September 16, 2000. They were blessed with their amazing daughter, Abigail, on October 17, 2011. Jeff was so excited to be a father and he loved being Abigail's dad. Jeff found his calling as a coach and teacher and graduated from Central Methodist University in 2017.

Jeff loved football and his hometown team, the Kansas City Chiefs. His passion for the Chiefs was infectious and his wife and daughter became fans as well – or at least they pretended to be for his sake! At least once a year, the three of them would layer up in their Chiefs gear for a game – rain, shine, or snow. He made athletics a part of his life and was lucky enough to coach the Waynesville Tigers football team, as well as wrestling and track for the Waynesville School District. As a coach, teacher, and mentor Jeff touched many lives during his time here on earth.

Jeff leaves behind his wife Angela Bramer (nee Vondera) and his daughter Abigail; his mother Sheri Peden; his grandmother Dixie Peden; his brother Darren Sigmon; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, Jeff's family asks that contributions instead be made to Abigail's college fund. Please click here or visit the PayPal donation page for Family Support for Jeff Bramer.
