Janice "Jas" Wedge (Mitchell), 60, of Augusta passed away Thursday, September 30, 2021 at her home.

Janice, daughter of Charles Mitchell and wife Aloha (French) was born October 19, 1960 in Pontiac, Michigan.

On December 22, 1995 she was united in marriage to Charles Wedge in Lapeer, Michigan.

Janice enjoyed gardening for vegetables and canning. She was very good at building miniature furniture for doll houses and embroidery. She was known to have a big heart, always going out of her way to help anyone in need.

Janice was preceded in death by her father, Charles Mitchell.

She is survived by her husband, Charles W. Wedge of Augusta; eight children, Chad Wedge of Marthasville, Candace Wedge of Michigan, Jeff Scott of Union, Rachel Logan and husband James of St. Clair, Randy Scott of Marthasville, Amber Scott of Augusta, Charles Wedge of Washington and Hunter Wedge of Augusta; her mother, Aloha Mitchell of Michigan; three siblings, Linda Schafrick of Michigan, Nancy Thumser and husband Steve of Michigan and Charles Mitchell of Arizona; fourteen grandchildren, Damen, Belle, Annie, Dezy, Gabby, Tori, Alyssa, Elanah, Aria, Valerie, Presley, Gunner, Mason and Ryder; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial donations to St. Jude Children Research Hospital are preferred.
