Janice Ann Carroll nee Johnson, 68 of St. Clair passed away June 7, 2015 in Wildwood. Mrs. Carroll, daughter of the late Chauncy Johnson and wife Marie nee Prost was born May 5, 1947 in Washington, Missouri. Janice was a graduate of St. Clair High School and received her degree in nursing in St. Louis. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Deaconess Hospital in St. Louis. After her career at the hospital she volunteered her services at St. John's Hospital, St. Clair Nursing Home, St. Clair Senior Center and anywhere she could help. Mrs. Carroll was of the Christian faith and member of St. Johns U.C.C. in St. Clair. Mrs. Carroll was preceded in death by her parents, Chauncy and Marie Johnson and her brother, Keith Johnson. Mrs. Carroll generously donated her body to Washington University School of Medicine. She is survived by two brothers, Chauncy Lee Johnson and wife Coleen of St. Louis and Curt Johnson and wife Lori of Washington; nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Wesley, Evan, Trey and Ethan; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
