Janet Long (Bresnahan), 75, of Union, passed away, Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at her daughter's home.

On November 16, 1946, Janet was born to the union of Harry Bresnahan and Frances Lanham in St. Louis.

Janet loved going to the casino, playing a good game of poker and playing with her beloved dog, Rosie. In her younger years she was an excellent basketball and ping-pong player. To relax and unwind, Janet would get lost in a good book. Most of all Janet loved her family, especially her grandchildren who she cherished very much and enjoyed playing with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Frances Bresnahan; one brother, Michael Bresnahan; her sister, Mary Bresnahan; one son, Danny Long.

Janet is survived by her three sons, Paul Long and wife Sheila of House Springs, Joe Long and wife Cassandra of Wentzville and Tim Long of Union; one daughter, Kim McClain and husband James of Union; three brothers, David Bresnahan and wife Linda of Cuba, Patrick Bresnahan and wife Judy of St. Louis, Danny Bresnahan and wife Marsha of Oklahoma; thirteen grandchildren, Samantha Long and fiancé Josh Wilson of Virginia, A.J. Kuhlmeyer and wife Danielle of Florida, Dustin Long of House Springs, Brenden Long of Wentzville, Emma Long of Wentzville, Austin Long and significant other Kaycee Ashton of Union, Kaylee Furey and husband Michael of Union, Keri Long and significant other Tommy Resnik of Union, Timmy Long of Columbia, Andrew Long of Illinois, Meah Long of Union, Gracie Long of Union and Tyler Long of Union; four great-grandchildren, Levi Furey, Kolter Resnik, Sophia Kuhlmeyer and due later this year Noel Furey; many nieces; nephews; cousins;  and many friends.
