Janet (Jackman) Bogenpohl, 78, of Union, passed away, Thursday, March 17, 2022, at her daughter's home in Union.

On February 25, 1944, Janet was born to the union of Mack Herbert Jackman and Leila Mae (Gray) in Vincennes, Illinois.

She graduated from Lawrenceville High School.

Janet was a member of the Zion United Methodist Church in Lawrenceville, Illinois.

She retired as a medical transcriptionist for Phelps County Regional Medical Center in Rolla, Missouri.

Janet enjoyed listening to music and watching "Jeopardy". Most of all she loved socializing and spending time with her family and friends. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Leila Mae Jackman; one sister, Carol Anne Delaney.

Janet is survived by her son, Greg Bogenpohl and wife Darlene of Florida; daughter, Julie Apperson of Union; two brothers, Dennis Jackman and wife Irene of Illinois and Jon Jackman and wife Cindy of Illinois; three grandchildren, James Bogenpohl of Wisconsin, Kaylyn Guse and husband Jake of Wisconsin and Blaine Apperson of Union; other relatives and many friends.
