Janet Lee Benoit, 80, of Sullivan, Mo, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2026, at her home surrounded in love by her family.

Janet was born on May 18, 1946, in St. Louis, Mo, to Frank and Thelma Konrad. She married Harold Benoit on November 10, 1978, in St. Charles, Mo, and they shared many wonderful years together.

Janet was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished her family above all else. She enjoyed spending time with those she loved her pets and traveling, making memories that will be treasured by her family for years to come. She was also a member of the Harvest Christian Church in Park Hills.

She is survived by her loving husband, Harold Benoit of Sullivan; daughters, Terry (Wes) Dessain of O'Fallon, Mo, and Sandy (Warren) Wimbish of Springfield, Mo; grandchildren, TJ, Angela, Katie, Luke/Lauren, Zachary/Courtney, Jacob/Katie, Matthew/Chelsea, Destiny, Brandon, AJ, and Brandon/Jessica and; great-grandchildren, Cheyenne/Michael, Dakota, Christopher/Esther, Hunter, Alex, Colt, Naomi, Faith, Elizabeth, Emma, Lizzie, Riley, Peyton, and Jackson; and great-great-grandchildren, Elias and Alora.

Janet was preceded in death by her children, Cricket Lee Taylor, Kenneth W. Benoit, John E. Benoit, and Charles E. Benoit, and her brother, Ronnie Mead, her great-granddaughter Kylie and granddaughter-in-law Kristin.

Janet will be lovingly remembered for her caring heart, her love of family, and the many memories she created with those she loved. Her family was her greatest joy, and her love will continue to live on through the generations she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
