James Wilmsmeyer, 62 of Union passed away Monday, March 09, 2009 in Washington, Missouri.
Mr. Wilmsmeyer son of the late Arthur Wilmsmeyer and wife May nee LaBoube was born September 14, 1946 in Union, Missouri.
Mr. Wilmsmeyer served his country in the United States Army Second Armor Division as a tank driver.
He was a member of the Union Assembly of God Church for 62 years.
On April 7, 1973 he was united in marriage to Carol Motter in Findley, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and May Wilmsmeyer; one brother, Robert Wilmsmeyer; one step-grandson, Matthew Pruessner.
Mr. Wilmsmeyer is survived by his wife Carol Wilmsmeyer of Union; two sons, James Wilmsmeyer and wife Rena of Union and Christopher Wilmsmeyer and girlfriend Angie Utley of Union; one daughter, Belinda Kuelker and boyfriend Bobby Young of Union; two brothers, Albert Wilmsmeyer and wife Alice of Findley, Ohio and Delbert Wilmsmeyer of Findley, Ohio; one sister, Joanne Mashburn and husband William of Moro, Illinois; five grandchildren, Michael Pruessner, Malachi Baldwin; Tyler Wilmsmeyer, Baileigh Wilmsmeyer and Brooklyn Wilmsmeyer; one aunt; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
