James Lee Thomas, 49 of Hillsboro passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012 in St. Louis.

Mr. Thomas, son of James Hugh Thomas and Betty Lou nee Gibson was born June 17, 1963 in Kirkwood, Missouri.

He was a member of Local 527 Cement Mason's Union in St. Louis and had a deep passion for riding his Harley.

Mr. Thomas is survived by his daughter, Jessica Dierker and husband William of Lonedell; two sons, Jacob Thomas of Union and Douglas Thomas of St. Clair; his father, Jim Thomas of Cuba; his mother, Betty Thomas of St. Clair; one brother, Jack Thomas and wife Cindy of Lonedell; three grandchildren, Mason, Isabella and Jayla; his grandfather, Herman Gibson of St. Clair; his girlfriend, Tina Patterson of Dittmer; one nephew; aunts; uncles; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
