James Lee Tandy of Pacific, MO was born September 17, 1929 in Columbia, MO; the son of James K. Tandy and Marjorie (McKee) McQuitty. He was raised by his beloved stepfather, Roy M. McQuitty. James passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at the age of 94 years.

He served honorably in the United States Air Force for four years, serving in the Korean War. James earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri and worked as a salesman for various companies and products.  He enjoyed playing golf and was very interested in health and wellness.  The time James cherished most was the time spent with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Marjorie McQuitty and husband Roy, and James Tandy.

He is survived by two sons: Brian Tandy and Jeff Tandy; five grandchildren: Jordan, Grant, Hannah, Colin, and Madeline; two great-grandsons; and many other relatives and friends.
