James Leonhardt, 71, of Union, MO passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2024. He was born November 9, 1953, in St. Louis, MO to the union of William and Bernadine (Reinheimer) Leonhardt.

James was known for his desire to make sure everything was clean and tidy. He enjoyed fishing in the Missouri River and Meramec River where he spent much of his youth. James loved tinkering with old cars and could easily identify every model and year of car that he saw.

He was preceded in death by his parents. William and Bernadine Leonhardt; one brother, William C. Leonhardt; three sisters: Tina Schmitz, Donna Leonhardt, and Mary Funston.

James is survived by two children, Jamey and Julie; three sisters: Margie McNamee of Pacific, Judy Stewart of Villa Ridge, and Kathleen Brinkmann and husband Jim of Labadie; nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
