Obituary

James Quentin Hanna, 57, of Union, entered his eternal peace, Friday, November 19, 2021, with his wife
and loved ones by his side.

On February 12, 1964, Quentin was born to Charles Hanna and Audra (Grosvenor) in Sedalia, MO.

On October 17, 1992, Quentin was united in marriage to Karen (Tyler) in Union at the First Baptist
Church.

Although Quentin and Karen just celebrated their 29th anniversary this year, they have enjoyed
32 beautiful years together. He took every opportunity he could get, to tell his bride how beautiful she is
and how much he loved her, even if it was multiple times a day. What they've shared is considered a
never ending love story.

Quentin, AKA Preacher Man, loved the Lord and enjoyed sharing God's word with anyone who would
listen. His face lit up everytime he got the chance to spread the good news. To him there was nothing
better than sitting on the porch with his girls teaching them God's word until the wee hours of the
morning and he tried to live by that word each and every day.

Quentin had a spontaneous nature and was always ready to go where the road took him. He loved being
outdoors; whether it was camping, hunting or fishing. He truly was a big kid at heart and enjoyed making
people laugh alongside his best friend Dan Tyler, but most of all he loved his wife and family very much.
He aimed every single day to provide his wife, children, and grandchildren with a life full of love, joy, and
selflessness, with faith above all. He has been their protector, safe haven, best friend, diary, and
compass. Most importantly, he has been their hero.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Charles and Audra Hanna; three sisters, Beverly Reed, Diana
Carpenter and husband Gordon and Donna K. Hanna.

Quentin is survived by his wife, Karen Hanna of Union; son, Travis Jinks of Union; six daughters, April
Rowedder of Iowa, Ashley Julius of Union, Crystal Vanwy husband Michael of Florida, Alexandra Hanna of
Union, Devine Fockler of Marshall and Kensey Fockler of Union; twelve grandchildren, Jordyn, Daniel,
