James "Jim" E. Hoener, 64 of Villa Ridge, Missouri, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022, at his home.

Jim, son of Edwin Charles Hoener and wife, Rubye Dorothy (Stevenson), was born October 31, 1957, in St Louis, Missouri.

On June 19, 2010, he was united in marriage to Kelly Hance at Shaw Nature Reserve in Villa Ridge, Missouri.

Jim graduated from Jennings High School and worked as a delivery driver for United Parcel Service for over 30 years before his retirement.

In his spare time, he enjoyed the outdoors, boating, water skiing, snow skiing, hiking and mountain climbing, including two successful climbs of Mt. Rainier in the Pacific Northwest.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Charles and Rubye Dorothy Hoener.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly Hoener; one sister, Linda Hoener and husband Dan Rike of North Carolina; nephews, Brian Shoemake of Indiana and Adam Shoemake of Georgia.
