James E. "JimE" Diekmann, passed away in Union on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at the age of 46.  The son of James and Beverly (VanBooven) Diekmann, was born in St. Louis, on March 12, 1979.

JimE was a sweet soul with a very creative mind. He spent the last 10 years at Silex Residential where he had many people who loved and cared for him.

He enjoyed visits with his siblings and country road adventures. He really enjoyed the snacks his siblings brought him. He was artistic and loved to draw and even did wire work when he was younger.

He spent his days hanging with his friends fiddling with his guitar or harmonica. He loved everyone and they loved him.

JimE was preceded in death by his parents, James and Beverly Diekmann.

He is survived by his siblings, Jason Diekmann of Lake St. Louis, Debbie Wallace and husband Paul of Branson, Barbara Haddox and husband Brian of Gasconade, nieces, nephews and many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Historic Hermann Rotunda.
