Obituary

James "Jim" Coleman, 52 of St. Clair passed away Saturday, January 9, 2010 at his home.

Mr. Coleman, son of the late Brooks Coleman and wife Marguerite nee Cromwell was born June 10, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan.

He was a member of Victory Church in St. Clair where he served as an Usher and played bass guitar during worship.

He volunteered for Franklin County Planning and Zoning in formulation of unified land use regulation and related issues.

He was on the Board of Directors for the Agape House Ministries.

He was involved in the Boy Scout program as a Den Leader, Assistant troop Leader, Boy Scout Explorer - Law Enforcement, Boy Scout First Class, Boy Scout Webloes, Cub Scout Wolf, Bear and Lion.

Mr. Coleman was preceded in death by his parents, Brooks and Marguerite Coleman.

He is survived by three sons, Seth Coleman of St. Louis, Brian Coleman of St. Clair and Kyle Coleman of St. Clair; one daughter, Tiffany Coleman of St. Clair; one brother, Jon Coleman and wife Kathy of St. Clair; two grandchildren, Zesa Voelkerding and Jacob Daniel; three nephews, J.D. Coleman, Chris Coleman and Ben Coleman; other relatives and many friends.
