James Lee Carson, age 58, passed away on October 20, 2026. He was born on March 18, 1968, in Hayti, Missouri.

James worked for Roy Wade Drywall Company for more than 10 years and spent many years in the construction industry. He took pride in his work and appreciated the beauty of the world around him. He could take something that someone else may think was junk and turn it into something unique and beautiful.

He is survived by his mother, Victoria Wagner of New Baden, IL, and stepmother Karen Carson, of St. Louis; his son, Chandler Carson of Washington, Mo; his daughter, Miranda Allen, of St. Louis; and his special friend, Gerard Horstmann of Washington, Mo. He is also survived by his brother, Scott (Angie) Carson of Indiana; his sisters, Tammy Kreher of New Baden, Illinois, Rhonda Sallin of Linn, Mo, Angie Carson of St. Louis, Candace Carson of Camdenton, Mo; and nieces and nephews, Elani Carson, Ryan Sallion, Kendra, Trevor, Carson, Michael, Jenny, Jonathan, Rachel, Michael, Wyatt, Waylon, Morgan and Decklind, many great-nieces, and great-nephews other relatives and many beloved friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Carson.

Celebration of Life will be held this Spring. Location, date, and time are TBD.
