Jacob Kyle Guittar, 39, of Union passed away, Thursday, July 12, 2018 at his home.

Jacob was born June 3, 1979 in Creve Coeur, son of Brian Guittar and Linda (Jones).

He was of the Christian Faith and attended the First Christian Church of Union.

He received his education at Union High School, graduating class of 1997.

Jacob was an avid collector and hunter of arrowheads. He enjoyed fishing and spending time on the river.

Jacob was preceded in death by his daughter, Kylee Jo Guittar.

He is survived by his parents, Brian Guittar and wife Marlene of Washington and Linda Record and husband Glenn of Union; one son, Mario Wentz of Union; one daughter, Mikaylyn Sawicki of Union; four brothers, Kelly Guittar and wife Erika of Washington, Kevin Guittar and wife Miranda of San Diego, CA, Ryan Record and wife Tish of St. Clair and Derrick Reed and wife Amy of Union; two sisters, Kristy Reed of O'Fallon and Erin Carpenter and husband Clinton of Wildwood; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
